The Story of my Suzuki RF600R

I have loved the look of streetfighter motorcycles and that was the intention when I originally bought this 1994 Suzuki RF. Not the most popular bike in this part of the world but makes it that much more original as a fighter.

As soon as it was out of the truck things started coming apart.

With the big headlight fairing off I needed to do something with the gauges. So a couple pieces of bent metal and some hose clamps I had them mounted to the top triple tree.

Then the first headlight setup. which didn't last too long.

Then time for a tail upgrade. Something a little smaller and modern.

First mock up

Then Cutting

Then fitment again

Then Weld it up

Take some pictures and admire the new tail

A tad better than this

Every fighter needs a flat black spray bomb paint job at one time in its life.

And some pinstriping

Then out came the tools to shorten up the stock muffler.

I wanted a new headlight so this is what I got.

It needed something to cover up the thermostat housing on the side. So I made these.

Also mounted my temperature gauge in the left one.

Covers painted black, Lettered and signal lights mounted

Thats all for now. Check back later for updates.
